Looking for the perfect antique or vintage find for your home or closet? Athens

Start your vintage shopping journey in Athens, just 60 miles northeast of Atlanta. Known as one of the best college towns in America as well as for its live music scene, it’s no surprise that Athens has plenty of unique shops full of funky finds from A to V!

Agora Vintage

Airee Edwards of Agora Vintage has quite an eye for vintage fashion, furnishings, and accessories. She opened her first shop, Agora, in 2002, where local designers and artisans rented booths in a community-supported co-op. Many local business owners got their start at the original Agora and have opened retail shops of their own nationwide. Her newest shop, Agora Vintage, is on Broad Street with views of the University of Georgia’s historic North Campus. Fans of authentic vintage Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Hermés can find them at a fraction of retail prices.
Vic’s Vintage

Victor Peel is a Navy veteran who has lived and traveled all over the world, where he developed an interest in and eye for home furnishings and design. In 2011, he took the leap from an eBay storefront to his brick and mortar store, and Vic’s Vintage was born. Specialty areas include Midcentury Modern, Danish Modern, Hollywood Regency, Japanese Meiji Period antiques, vintage, and collectible art, and vintage and audiophile-related electronics. Vic’s Vintage also has become a go-to source for movie set design and props for Georgia’s film industry. He has assisted with pieces for projects such as “War for the Planet of the Apes,” “Office Christmas Party,” “The Walking Dead,” and “Stranger Things.”
